Meet the Pakoras!
Pakoras, also known as Bhajia, Pakoda, Pakura, or Pikora, are small (typically bite-sized) appetizers or snacks. The main ingredient is dipped in a batter made from chickpea flour (also known as gram flour), and then deep-fried.
In the UK pakoras’ are a popular fast-food snack while in India they are popular on-the-go street food. We highly recommend trying these delicious bite-size morsels at Manvirro’s!
Without a doubt, the Pakora varieties at Manvirro’s are the best around! We have Chicken, Fish, Vegetable, Prawn, Onion, and more!
Traditionally Pakoras are served with masala chai to guests arriving to attend Indian wedding ceremonies and are complemented with tamarind, chutney, or raita. Keepiong in line with this we serve ours with mint and tamarind chutney.
Remember to check our our Vindaloos and Kormas too. Either of these dishes make for an excellent main course after starting off with a few tasty pakoras.
